Welcome to Jones County Junior College Bobcat Cheerleading
It is believed that cheerleaders cheered for both Ellisville Agricultural High School and Jones County Junior College at the same time for many years. So, the first football team began at JCJC in 1929 and that squad had cheerleaders.
JCJC has had numerous squads to be nationally ranked and they have consistently been the top-ranked squad in Mississippi at national competition. Several Bobcat cheerleaders have gone on to cheer for senior colleges, such as Southern Miss, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Alabama, Kentucky and Louisiana-Monroe. Through the years, numerous JCJC cheerleaders have had high ACT scores, GPAs and have received Presidential Scholar-Athlete Awards.
