ELLISVILLE – Ten teams and over 170 players participated in the Jones County Junior College Girls Team Soccer Camp, which was held July 23-27.
Teams from Northeast Jones, South Jones, West Jones, Greene County, Petal, Purvis, Laurel Christian School, Hattiesburg Sacred Heart and Florence varsity and junior varsity participated in the camp.
Teams went through drills and training all week, focused on the fundamentals of individual and team play and competed in games vs. each other.
The camp, which was directed by JCJC women’s soccer coach Dolores Deasley, was designed to prepare teams for the upcoming 2012-13 prep soccer season.
